Teamwork-Final project

TEAMWORK SKILLS ZOMBIE
1.              BE ABLE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE SETTING OF THE TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL GOALS
1.1.         Identify the team’s goals
We were asked to create a short film. The goals for our short film is to work as a team and try to make the best film possible and make sure that everybody does their part and be involved. The film should be about 7 minutes long.
1.2.         Describe the process involved in planning and deciding the team’s goals
We had a project meeting and decided which part the film that people are doing in the film. We all pitched an idea and decided which idea was the best to use, and planed out how the film is going to work. We decided which part each person is going to do and when it will happen to insure that the production runs smoothly.

2.              UNDERSTAND OWN AND OTHERS’ RESPONSIBILITIES IN ACHIEVING THE TEAMS GOALS
2.1.         Organise own activities effectively within the agreed goals of the team
My role the the short film is cinematography and actor. the reason why is because the group decided to go for my idea so i want to make sure that every shot the lead actor is exactly how i envisioned it. However i a not write the screenplay and i will have to work with Jamie to help with some details.
2.2.         Provide information detailing own and other team members’ responsibilities
Sam- camera/sound-Scorce locations, health and safety consideration. Ensure all footage is named correctly and uploaded, to a designed area to enable the editors to edit the final piece.

3.              BE ABLE TO PLAN AND UNDERTAKE TEAM ACTIVITIES
3.1           Plan activities that enable the team to reach its goals

Friday 26th April: I have spoken with Bam and Paul and was able to secure a camera and a tripod for production. I have spoken to Jamie and defused about how the screenplay matches up too my vision. I have spoken to Ofentse about make up and costume and discussed what each character as going going to wear to shut the characters style and personality. Danial and Layton went out and scouted out various locations. We brainstormed some ideas to try and make the best short film possible.
3.2           Identify own responsibilities towards the team in relation to the plan

Friday 27th April-Team production meeting.
Wednesday 1st May- Team production meeting and milestone deadline cast confirmed.
Friday 3rd- Milestone deadline screenplay written. Storyboard complete, location scouted

Wednesday 15th May- Way began to shoot our short film, due to the team not being fully prepared, this din't go so well.

Wednesday 22nd may- We continued to film our short film. We came more pre- paired, so ting ran more smoothly.

Friday 24th May- We finished our short film and we began to edit and film ready to watch.

3.3 Carry out own responsibilities.

My responsibilities for the short film to to make I turn up on set on time and make sure i am able to act in the role I was meant to do. I needed to work as a team and stay calm when I was under pressure, I needed to know that I was going to say during each scene and work to the best to my abilitie.

3.4 Contribute to the successful completion of the team activities

I contributed as an actor and made sure my acting was as good as it gets.

4.  BE ABLE TO REVIEW THE TEAM ACTIVITIES

4.1 feedback on own actions in relation to the overall team activities

I feel that I did good as an actor because I feel like I did my part very well. We weren't really that close to my original vision of the short film due to complications of the location we had to film it the the park and college. The pre-production process help to male my film by showing us what the actors should say, decide witch location to film and which shots to use. The short film partly lived up to the target audience, it had blood and gore, but lack on gruesome violence. My contribution the the film was an actor while the rest of my group focused in directing, camerawork and editing. We had a rough start to the production but we got our heads around it and we started to mange our time well and managed to films much as we could. The things i learned from the project was to have more patient and learn to contribute more into teamwork projects. One thing I could of done better was to try and stay calm when something doesn't go to plan.

4.2 Describe different team members' contributions

I feel think my team member did an okay jobs and had clue of what they are doing. One thing that they could of improved on was to stay focused.
